THE PLOT:

Years after Draco found is place in the stars, a monk finds a dragon egg. Being a monk he has compassion for all living things, he takes the egg to the monistary and the young Dragon is raised secretly by the Monks.

A young Knight is curious by the mystery of the forbidden room and follows one Monk down, where he meets the young dragon which they named Drake. Drake and Geoffrey become fast friends and really bound while Geoffrey learns the ways of Knighthood.

But when Chinese travelers arrive they bring with them something that could not only destroy their friendship but their very existance.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I don't care what anyone else says, this is better the first movie. Yes, you heard me, better then the first one. I liked the characters more, even the villian more. The effects are just as impressive as the first. But what gets my goat is why it didn't come out in the theaters, it deserved a theaterical release, what morons did they have during the preview. They should have had me. Anyway, a great movie and it deserves only one thing, a perfect 10 STARS. That's right, you heard me. DRAGONHEART: A NEW BEGINNING gets A PERFECT 10!

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I wish they stuck with the working title of DRAGONHEART II, I hate when movies don't keep numbers and have fancier titles. It's harder to place in it's alphabetal place. But as for the story, I agree with Zedd, 100%. This is a great flick and dereves a PERFECT 10, and so I too am going to give DRAGONHEART II a PERFECT 10 STARS.

+ STORY (The story works even better then first.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects are just as good as the first.)
+ CAST (The cast also works very well.)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters are more likeable then the first.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- NO SEQUEL NUMBER OR THEATERICAL RELEASE (Both things are somewhat annoying.)

- FAN BASED (If you didn't like the first movie, then you won't like this one.)
