THE PLOT:

Jessie and Charlie inherit Jessie's old Great Grandfather's house years after Jessie's parent's were mysteriously murdered by a shadowy figure. They learn of a powerful Crystal Skull that was buried with him, so they dig him up and find that the skull has kept him alive all this time. Now strange things are happening and strange pocket dimensions are opening in rooms all over the house and the undead partner Slim Razor is after the skull using goons from these Pocket Dimensions.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

The first House was a scary classic, but the second house is a monsterpiece of comedy and frights. I owned the comic book mini-series that came out when House II came out and after reading it I couldn't wait to see the movie. The genius of the effects and the characters were great. It did get a tad annoying at times when the Bill Maher's Player character stole his wife or girlfriend, whatever she was. That was annoying. But that was minor compared to the whole movie. Great performances throughout the whole movie including the late great character actor Royal Dano known from such great movies as KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE and SPACED INVADERS. He's great as Gramps. Basically the movie is a buried treasure. However, if you aren't a fan of horror or the first movie, then I wouldn't take odds of you liking anything in the series. 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree, the House series is always been tops with me. It has great effects, a great cast, great acting, fun and spooky atmosphere and I love Bippy. The Prehistoric insect dog. That was one cool creature. 9 STARS as well.
