THE PLOT:

A group of scientist and technisions have been trapped five miles underground for two years. They are spending they're last day together and having a blast.

But we soon learn that science and Crystal Meth don't mix as the workaholic accidently creates a new strain of life, that he injects into his lab rat, who quickly kills the other lab rat. Then the local cat, and implants inself into the Doctor, after expelling itself from the carcuss of the Doctor it takes human form.

Then the rest of the crew as it were are in Danger, can the thing he created be killed or are will that underground lab become they're tomb?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

The basic format was good, the trapped with a monster. A formula first done in ALIEN way back in 1976, but has been done allot since works allot. However, one problem I have is the title, ALIEN TERMINATOR. What the hell were they thinking, it's not an ALIEN, it's a science experiment gone wrong, unless they were working with alien DNA, in which case they never said. Also TERMINATOR, just because something is a killing machine doesn't make him or her a TERMINATOR. I think the Producer saw an oppertunity to cash in on two cash cows, the ALIEN and TERMINATOR movies. Apart, they're copyrighted, but together it's a whole new word. I think they should be asshamed of themselves, it's wrong, but it's legal. The movie is basically decent and I give it...5 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd on the title issue. But also, I hate movies where you only see the monsters near the end, but then when you do see the monster, you can't see it because it's so dark. Were the makers that asshamed of what the monster looked like to show it clearly or what? Don't look for Lisa Boyle's name in the credits, she was so embarresed by how it turned out she used a stage name. Then again the movie was just an excuse to get her out of her clothes. I too give it....5 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CHARACTERS (I liked the characters for the most part)
+ CAST (The cast did the best they could with what was given to them)
+ CONCEPT (Trapped with a monster always works)
+ CREATURE (What there was of it, he looked pretty cool)
+ LISA BOYLE (Speaking as men, we'd watch it again for Lisa Boyle's shower scene.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- ASHAMED (Was Lisa Boyle shamed into using a stage name?)
- NOT SEEN (You don't get to see the monster clearly much)
- TITLE (It wasn't an alien, they took advantaged and combined two popular SCI-FI series together).

AND FINALLY....

- COVER ALL (The guy with the dangling cover-alls was just creepy.)
