THE PLOT:
A pair of thieves get an assignment that may be their last. To steal a magical stone from a legendary man who has been around
for centuries before they can invoke a ritual that can end the world.
But finding the stone and escaping in one piece may be harder then they expected, maybe even impossible.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
There is two things I found interesting about this movie. One, the sense of humor running throughout and two, the monsters.
There is a bunch of interesting monsters in this movie. Apparently this movie was shoved under the table when it came out
with no advertising budget and I wouldn't be at all surprised if you never heard of it before now. But that would be your
hard luck. Not seeing it is a tragic crime, it has great humor, great monsters and a great story. There are some minor character
issues and I wish the ending was slightly different without giving it away. But it is a compelling story that is worth watching.
The cameos are worth looking for as well. This is a clever movie that deserves a lot more then it got and you need to rent
it or even buy it today. 9 OUT OF 10 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I almost agree except the character issues bugged me more then it bugged him and the ending was disappointing to say the least.
Not as bad as some movies but I wouldn't call it a buried treasure. 8 OUT OF 10 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (We both loved the creature effects.)
+ CAST (The cast does a dynamite job.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CAMEOS (Zedd loved the cameos.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CHARACTER ISSUES (There are some minor character issues and questions left open.)
AND FINALLY....
- ENDING (Without giving it away I wish they went a different route.)
