THE PLOT:
The story of Sarah Leigh who was the only witness against the man who broke into the diner where she and her father and brother
were eating. The man was Millard Findlemeyer and when they stood up to the gun welding maniac he kills them. Her blunt testimony
sends Millard to a death sentence.
Now trying to manage the family bakery with a big restaurant owner trying to drive them to sell so he'd have no more competition
is hard enough. But when a woman delivers gingerbread mix with Millard's ashes mixed in causing him to come back to life
as a cook he goes on a killing spree and stopping this cookie monster may be impossible.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
First of all I'd like to say that I am happy to see Charles Band back where he belongs in the director's chair. Now if he
can salvage his other children like Puppet Master and Demonic Toys. But getting back to this, I got to admit this is one strange
and unique concepts, in fact one of the most unique concepts that's come out in a long time. The cast does a great job with
the material given to them, now the dialog was kind of cheesy at time and some of the effects could have been a lot better.
But as a whole the Gingerdead Man is a fun if short romp and I hope they find a way to bring the Gingerdead Man back for a
sequel, that is something I'd look forward to. 9 out of 10 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree to a point, I agree that Gary Busey always does a great as the villain and I did enjoy the movie. But I will have
to give it a lower grade due to the shortness of it, I think they could have done more with it. 8 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CHARLES BAND (It's good to see him back in the director's chair, we missed him. Now if he can rescue his other franchises
before they're totally destroyed.)
+ STORY (The story is unique.)
+ GARY BUSEY (Gary is always good at being bad.)
+ CONCEPT (A killer kookie is clever and unique.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- DIALOG ISSUES (Some of the dialog is kind of cheesy.)
- EFFECTS (Not to be a nagging Nathan, but I think some of the effects could have been better.)
AND FINALLY....
- SHORT (VOLTRON thought it was too short.)
