Johnny Mnemonic is a information carrier but he carries the information in a built in harddrive in his brain. But for a large
fee Johnny takes on more then his harddrive can carry and to make matters worse the information is so wanted, there are people
willing to killing him to steal the information i.e. his head to get it.
This is an good movie but there is just one issue with it that to me doesn't make much sense and if you read this and can
explain it, please explain it. Now if there a computer chip or computer chips in his head that stores the information how
can that effect his natural memories? But that is a minor complaint compared to the whole movie. 8 STARS.
I agree with Zedd about the whole memory thing, as far I know there is no way to really lose your memories, they can only
be suppressed but removed or erased. 8 STARS as well.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ EXCITING (It is very exciting.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ ACTING (The acting is very good.)
+ ATMOSPHERE (The world of the not to distant future looks interesting.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- LOSING CHILDHOOD MEMORIES (If the information is stored a chip how can it effect his natural memories?)
- FAN BASED (If you aren't into the Cyberpunk stories, then this isn't for you.)
